Let's jump!

Bungee jump also known as Bungy jump is a type of thrill activity that involves jumping from a tall structure while the person's leg is connected to a large elastic cord. The tall structure is usually a tall building, bridge or a crane.However, there are some bungee jump that jump from a movable object such as plane and hot air balloon. The price is also much more "beautiful" to jump from a movable object!
When one jumps, the cord on the leg stretches and this makes the jumper flies upward again continuously until the energy is dissipated. The best part is all the thrill of this activity is comes from the free failing so as the rebounds.

It's thrill and dangerous enough. Bungee jump may causes injuries on the jumper or death.
But.. CHOY!! Touch wood touch wood...!

Nothing will happen but do check the safety and precautions before you jump!
Found some information on the injuries that may occur despite of the safety measures that generally relate to the abrupt rise in the upper body inter vascular pressure during the bungee cord recoil.
The most frequently reported complication is the eyesight damage. Impaired eyesight secondary to retinal haemorrhage may be transient or take several weeks to resolve.
There's a case, a 26 year old woman's eyesight was still impaired after 7 months. Whiplash injuries may occur as the jumper is jolted on the bungee cord and in the least one case, this may led to quadriplegia secondary to a broken neck!
For a more serious injury may occur if the jumper's neck or body get entangled in the cord.
Carotid artey dissection may leads to a type of stroke after the bungee jumping has also been described. For the worst part is all of these injuries have occurred in fit and healthy people or jumper who are in their twenties and thirties.
